BASIC KEYPAD INSTRUCTIONS

TO CHANGE MASTER CODE:

enter master code + 8 + 02 + NEW CODE + NEW CODE
example: old master code is 2222 and you want to change it to 3333
press: 2222 802 3333 3333 you should bear a confirmation beep

TO ADD A USER CODE:

enter master code + 8 + 03 + NEW CODE
example: adding code 3456
press: master code then 803 then new four digit code

TO DELETE A USER CODE:

ENTER MASTER CODE + 8 + USER POSITION + # 0

PANIC AND DURESS FEATURE:

PRESS * + # simultaneously for panic alarm
If forced by assailant to disarm system, use code 9999 then press 1, this is a forced to disarm (silent panic) code. This is under user code 30

TO ARM SYSTEM:

enter user code then press 2 (away button) OR #2

TO DISARM SYSTEM:

enter user code then press 1 (off button)

ARMING SYSTEM TO LEAVE HOUSE:

Enter four digit code and press the 2 "away" key OR #2

DISARMING SYSTEM:

Enter four digit code and press the 1 "off" key

ARMING SYSTEM FOR NIGHT TIME PROTECTION:

Enter four digit number and press the 3 "stay" key OR #3

ARMING SYSTEM FOR NIGHT TIME INSTANT PROTECTION MODE:

Enter four digit number and press the 7 "instant" key OR #7

or

ARMING SYSTEM FOR NIGHT TIME MAXIMUM INSTANT PROTECTION MODE:
Enter four digit number and press the 4 "maximum" key OR #4

BYPASSING A ZONE:

Enter your code number and press 6 "BYPASS" then enter the zone number you want bypassed.
Example: your code is 5687 and you want to bypass zone 05 - enter 5687 6 05 at the keypad. Zones must be entered as a two digit number.example: zone five is entered as 05.

CLEAR KEYPAD:

To clear keypad after alarm enter four digit code number then press the 1 "off" key. Again, enter your code and press the 1 "off" key a second time. Fire alarms and keypad panic alarms are also cleared using this procedure.

TO DISARM SYSTEM:

enter user code then press 1 (off button)

FIRE, POLICE & MEDICAL BUTTONS:

If you press a FIRE, POLICE, MEDICAL button or * and # for a genuine need of assitance (actual alarm), you should not reset the keypad. Leave the panel in alarm condition until the police or fire department arrives. You must hold any panic button in for 4 seconds and hear a beep afterwards to activate it. The * and # Police panic is instantly activated when pressed simultaneously.
